Located in a strategic position for exploring much of northern Sardinia, the area offers quick road access (avoiding town traffic) connecting Castelsardo with Valledoria, Isola Rossa, Sassari, Porto Torres, Alghero, and Stintino — all reachable within 30 to 60 minutes by car. A 3‑minute drive takes you to the nearby village of Lu Bagnu, where you’ll find (among many others) the famous “Ampurias Beach,” awarded for years with the Blue Flag for its enchanting turquoise waters.
To visit Castelsardo, you can easily get around on foot, as the accommodation is just 150 m from the prestigious seafront on the lovely “La Marina” beach and close to the center of the fascinating medieval village of Castelsardo.
Along the promenade, you’ll find supermarkets, bars, typical restaurants, sandwich shops, a pharmacy, and more. From the apartment, walking is the safest and easiest way to reach all the main attractions of the town. The street is well connected to public transport. If you prefer to avoid the stress of finding parking at the award‑winning beaches in the nearby village, we recommend taking the bus — it only takes 3 minutes, and the service runs every 30 minutes.
WE WILL PROVIDE ALL THE INFORMATION YOU NEED. For guests with a car, parking is available along the street. For those who have difficulty walking, it is advisable to get around by car, as the house is located in the mid‑high part of the village, accessible via an uphill road. Naturally, our apartment is located up there to offer breathtaking views and total peace. Parking at the house will not be a problem.

Part of the “Most Beautiful Villages in Italy” circuit, Castelsardo is one of the few villages located directly by the sea, combining history, art, and landscape. Castelsardo is well worth a visit to discover a unique and characteristic village on the island. A village that still preserves its ancient medieval appearance and offers much to explore in terms of history, craftsmanship, and artistic masterpieces—one of the few places that still keeps centuries‑old traditions alive. Just 4 km away is Lu Bagnu, Castelsardo’s seaside area, with its fantastic sandy beaches, awarded for years with the “Blue Flag” for their crystal‑clear turquoise waters.
